Our shell jackets are built to handle the challenge of long days on the mountain. Whether you’re exploring the backcountry or encounter difficult weather while on a climb, BD shell jackets provide dependability and comfort. Our collection includes everything from ultralight softshell jackets to super robust ski shells. We’re committed to delivering waterproof shell jackets that are also breathable. Our BD.dry™ fabrics use a PFAS-free DWR treatment in combination with a hydrophilic membrane - this allows for water vapor to escape from the interior of the jacket and ensures breathability. Many of our hooded shell jackets are either climbing helmet compatible or ski helmet compatible. Our ski shell jackets are built with a number of features that increase durability and functionality. Reinforcement in high-wear areas like around the elbow, hip, and forearm help to extend garment lifetime. Zipper pockets provide practical storage for a hat or gloves.
