Water proofing is not working after couple of year

"Stay away from this product. The water proofing is not working after 2-3 years, even if you reapply Durable Water Repellent (DWR) like Nikwax. I have contacted the support, and they told me it's normal, and won't do anything about it."

Highend shell

"Great jacket, really well made and the materials are high end. I'm 5'8" 155lbs and i got a medium. The small might fit me. The medium is incredibly long and while this might provide more coverage, I'm not certain the extra length is necessary. worn with a harness one can manage the extra by using the draw string and it works well."

Patrick D. (4/5)

Solid jacket

"Good build quality and features. Kept my dry, but the fabric appeared to wet-out in a couple spots in the first few uses."

Isaac O. (4/5)

Light and breathable

"Took this up some mountains, works well for a hard shell when below freezing. Breathable zippers under the arms is continent when on the hot descend"

Logan W. (5/5)

Nice shell

"I’m 70 inches, 185, wide shoulders and a large fits great. BD put some thought into making this harness compatible with high pockets and a long torso. Super lightweight with a tiny bit of stretch. Nice adjustable hood. Tightly sealed zippers and generous pit zips. Everything seems dialed and doesn’t look like it will flake apart like the previous generation of shells. Bright colors are a plus."

Brandon Y. (5/5)

Good fit and effective shell

"Their shells fit really well -- notably they are long enough in the body, which is key for a taller person. Great weight, too -- light enough to not be a burden, yet thick enough to be a real cold weather shell."

MICHAEL J. (5/5)

Hood elastic came undone.

"Jacket is perfect for climbing all day and fits perfect. The only downside is the hood elastic popped out when I tightened it ever so gently. There’s no way that elastic is able to be rethreaded without taking apart the hood. Very sad day!"

Curt H. (3/5)

Breathable, comfortable, waterproof

"I was ski touring in a rain shell, until I picked up the Highline Stretch Shell. It's a game changer for sure. Waterproof, breathable and lightweight. The fit is relaxed, and so far I would highly recommend. I'm 6'1" and Medium fits me perfectly in almost all Black Diamond jackets."

Brian W. (5/5)

More than a rain shell

"Primarily bought this for spring skiing at it's worked out great. Fits true to size but roomy enough for some layering underneath for colder mornings or when it's still chilly from winds if temperature goes up in the afternoons. When it gets warmer in afternoons without winds the pit zips are great for making comfort adjustments. It also folds up compact enough to fit in a small daypack or fanny pack if it gets too warm to keep wearing."

Don P. (5/5)

Does the Job!

"Clearly high quality material and has kept me very dry in a complete downpour. I’m 5’6” and the medium is a bit long in the sleeves and torso but that actually works fsirly well as it keeps more of me dry and allows layering"
