GEAR REPAIRS THROUGH REROUTE
At its core, Reroute is a repair program. We stand by the gear we make, but gear does not last forever and pushing your limits, pushes the limits of gear, too. Crack climbers gobie their hands and add holes and tears to pants and hoodies. Backcountry skiers rip bibs and gloves while navigating a steep, tight tree run. Trail runners snag jackets and shorts on branches as they sprint down the loose trail. Haul bags are beaten and wear out, cam slings age and fray, pole shafts crack and splinter. Gear takes a beating, but instead of throwing it away, Black Diamond is committed to repair and repurpose through Reroute.
The Black Diamond Reroute program offers repairs for a variety of Black Diamond Products. Our technicians can patch climbing pants, ski jackets, bibs and pants. Patches can range from a few centimeters up to foot long gashes. They can perform basic repairs on packs like buckle replacement, hole patching, and strap repair. Tents can also be repaired, ranging from simple patches to restringing poles and pole piece replacement.
