Packed with comfort-focused features like ergonomic cork grips and Bloom grip extensions, plus our uniquely designed, streamlined shock, the Pursuit Shock is a premium pole option for any hiker.

BD proprietary grip geometry and shape, with two grip sizes optimized for larger and smaller hands, make for more comfortable hand positions as well as reduces hand fatigue. Natural cork grips manage moisture while extensions – made from Bloom, an algae infused foam – provide additional hand positions on steep ascents. Hidden beneath the grip and the grip extension is a newly designed shock system that dampens vibrations to help reduce joint pain. Also included are Solution 2.0 wrist straps, made from post-consumer recycled fi bers, and a thoughtfully-designed, soft-touch FlickLock+ for quick and easy adjustments.

The best!!!

"Love my new poles! Comfortable, light weight and they give me the stability I need going downhill plus being able to use my arms they also help with the uphill. The shock absorber you wouldn't really notice unless you are used to a set of poles without it. This feature helps, it minimizes that shock to the arm when you set the pole."

"Great product love them a lot"

Amazing poles

"I'm a big fan of using hiking poles. I researched a lot of different pole options, and I settled on these for two reasons - they are light and compact when folded. These poles do not disappoint. I used them recentky on a Dolomites hike and was able to compare them to other brands and I'm very happy with my choice and how these poles stack up v. the competition."

Christopher H. (5/5)

Lightweight and strong

"I just got these in and used them last weekend and they made a huge difference vs using no poles"

Jarred M. (5/5)

Great product; nice and light

"Great product; easily adjustable, nice and lightweight"

James I. (5/5)

"I am a daily hiker. Im 56 & hike a trail above my house with my 2 German Shepherds everyday. I average 4 miles & 1,200’ of elevation change/day. These poles are strong & silent. Ive had other poles that are strong but make a vibration sound with every plant, but not these black diamond pursuit shock poles."

Deliver as promised.

"First day with these and pulled off two 14ers. Light but also solid as promised."

Collin H. (5/5)

Replacing my Trailshocks

"I had my former pair of poles for some 1000 miles. the material finally gave out. The Pursuit poles have seamlessly moved into my gear. They have taken any and all situations beautifully. I enjoy the upgraded aluminum. It's lighter and stronger. Looking forward to many years of service."

"These are heavy enough to stand up to extensive use but still light on your arms. The field-maintainable locking mechanisms are a nice touch. Grips are ergonmic and the shocks add a bit of comfort without being squishy. Nice poles."

Mike (5/5)

Purchased these for a through

"Purchased these for a through hike in Colorado, they worked flawlessly. The cork style grip and the comfy lanyard were nice to feel, and the poles do have some nice compression in them to absorb some of the impact. Great quality"
