"I love the Alpine Cork hiking poles these tips are made for. I've used the poles for years but about once a year I'll break the tip. These offer an economical and environmentally responsible way to fix my poles without adding more junk to the landfill. And they're easy to replace. Heat the end in hot water then set some pliers on them and twist off the broken tip. Then place the new one in place, tap it down a few times on a hard surface and you're good to go! What's not to love?!"

"I have replaced flex tips several times in my BD poles (2 different models), they work perfect. Just keep in mind that to remove the old ones, you have to put them in very hot water for a few minutes, then are very easy to remove. Otherwise is close to impossible without damaging the poles."
