"Tip ends slide around and don't lock when stowed. This means the ends slide around. No other poles from Black Diamond I've had over the last 10 yrs have had this product defect. Worked through Black Diamond warranty and they indicate it is as intended so buyer be ware of this manufacturing design to these poles. IMO - horrible. This is not do to locks not being tight this is due to manufacturing design choices."
"Poles are nice and light. However, the black foam grip rubs off on your hands and turn them black. Also, the second clip on one of my poles wouldn't stay tight, so my pole would eventually get shorter. I used these brand new and hiked 100 miles on the AZT. Would not buy again or recommend. Too expensive for the poor quality."
