The HiLight 3P is the perfect base camp for mountain adventures that require a long hike in. The tent’s three-person design and a roomy floor plan and also includes a second side access door. With an easy-to-pitch, two-and-a-half pole design, the set-up is quick and fool proof. The new Flow Manifold (patent pending) allows interior heat convection and exterior airflow to draw moisture vapor and stale air out of the tent. New, high tenacity 30D poly fabric keeps the tent tight as a drum in all conditions and is treated for flame resistance for North America compliance/availability. We’ve also added fully taped seams (no more seam sealing required on your own), reinforced internal pole grips, and reflective guylines that are now three times stronger. In addition, the Flow Manifold allows for a central, ceiling exit rope for anchoring in on steep pitches.

Promising 3+ season bunker

"Have used only for summer camping so far with great results. The huge mesh doors make it much more livable when conditions are nice. Still haven’t seen it perform in torrential rain or snow but it feels incredibly solid and construction seems quality so far. Will continue to test."

Great Tent

"Great Tent that has convenient option for winter camping"

2nd try at single wall tent

"Haven’t tried it yet. But intend to use it in a desert environment. It would be a touch easier to set up if it had the same set interior guidance like the Fitzroy."

"I am using it every where in mountains and very practically"

Big problem of condensation. Poor venting. Gear (sleeping bag, floor pad) wet in the morning.

"condensation issue"

Jessica B. (3/5)

could be better

"For a single wall tent, there should have been a little more consideration for venting. Condensation is ROUGH in this tent. I've used it for three hunting seasons hoping to figure out a way around the condensation, and it's just unavoidable. Every morning I wake up in it, my the foot of my sleeping bag is drenched. This is due to it not being a true 3-man tent and, again, the venting. Two people in this thing isn't ideal. Attaching the vestibule is kind of a pain. If you're looking into a tent, I would recommend Stone Glacier and avoid the Hilight."

amazingly versatile

"this is a great tent for the features. vented enough for summer, waterproof especially with the vestibule on, and long enough for 6+ footers. truly 4 season. only concern is durability. . ."

Powerful Fortress

"Forget how beautiful and visable the color is against fresh white snow! This tent can handle 2. 5 ft of heavy wet snow loading, as I discovered LAST winter in the Catskill Mountains, NY. Now I have 100% complete confidence that it can handle 40-50 mph winds, that is wind, NOT gusts, as well. For myself solo, the 3P with vestibule is my Kingdom. Sharing the tent with friend was acceptable. Not too cramped and we were able to melt snow, cook, eat, lay down, sit up, lounge, stretch, sleep, hang out, change clothing and not bump heads. Plenty of space. The vestibule, I feel is mandatory in bad weather. . Definitely with 2 people in there and if you plan on being mostly tent bound. The entry doors/bay windows are fantastic for views and ventilation, let a!one entering and exiting. My only 2 grips are small, tight toggles and latches for the doors! Very hard to do in freezing weather, bare handed. . With gloves even harder, but this is something I can probably modify myself, or not, because its not that bad, just could be better. The 2nd gripe is the storm flap on the vestibule door can snag easy if you not careful. And in bad weather sometimes you may want to close it up quickly. . . So be careful. But that's the vestibule and this is review of tent. . So disregard. I wish I could post pictures of it in action. I also love the blue on the inside!! Its cheery and inspiring even on the dark gloomy days. . stimulate the mind a bit!! This tent is almost the unicorn! Search it on you tube!"

Very warm

"I use this tent in every season for car camping and for rugged backpacking for work. I combined with my big agnes 3in1 I stayed warm in temps well below freezing. The only real complaint I have with this tent is the internal pole system can be a little bit difficult to assemble at first. I am always afraid I am going to jam the the tent pole through the corner of the tent. However, once you get the hang of it and trust the durability of the tent, set up and take down is quick and easy."

Perfect for 1 person

"Have used this tent in multiple climates and terrain. It’s the perfect size for 1 person with a good amount of gear. Will work for 2 people. Holds well up to water without vestibule. Confusing to set up at first with poles used inside of tent. Very lite weight tent for back packing. Kept warm in 20 degrees and held up in 50+ wind. I do recommend buying vestibule to use for gear storage and heavy rain."
