excellent replacement for the creek transit 32L

"As a replacement for my Creek Transit 32L, I’m overall very pleased with this pack (StreetCreek 30RT). The inside lining is bright yellow which is helpful for viewing into the pack but may put off some users. The slim front pocket is more useful than I expected with an internal divider also. despite the durable and flat base, the pack will not stand erect on its own unless fairly loaded. The straps feel durable and comfortable though attach a little too close together to be ideal for my broad shoulders. I was worried that the rolltop closure would feel annoying as a daily use pack but I’ve come to prefer it over a zipper. The roll top is very easy and quick to manage and doesn’t necessarily need to be “rolled" or even closed properly. The laptop sleeve is good but not amazing like the old creek transit. This sleeve sits internal to the pack volume and just barely fits my slim 15 inch laptop. It would not fit a chunky 15 inch laptop. i’m enjoying the tall and narrow proportions of the pack and the materials seem ideal with long-term durability in mind."

Do it all pack.

"I’m very happy with the BD Street Creek 30 pack. During the week its my commuter bag and easily fits my laptop in the computer pouch and on the weekends its my incognito camera bag and day pack. I wanted a bag for my camera gear that didn't look like a camera bag that advertised I’m walking around with expensive camera gear. Granted it may look like I’m walking around with expensive climbing gear but most folks don't know how expensive climbing gear can be, most everyone knows camera gear is expensive. I can carry my 200-600 lens w/lens cover and camera body attached and quickly pull it out when needed. I like how it sits up on its own and doesn't have to be laid flat on the ground. I can carry a water bottle on the outside with a carabiner attached to the webbing loops. The only super minor complaint I have is that little clip that is usually used for attaching your keys is on the inside pocket whereas I think it should have been attached on the side stash pocket for quickly getting it out when you come back to your vehicle or house. I got the yellow bag and it looks good."

"Great bag. I like the fit, the extra pockets both ifor the laptop, keys/ other small items and front pocket. These are all relly useful to store items you might want to access more easily. I also like how the bag can always “standup” which makesnit easy whem accessing items in main compartment. Overall capacity is pretty good, as the roll down can be adjusted to accommodate more or less items. The bag is a bit narrow - which can make it feel like items at the bottom of bag are harder to get to though. Also while i knew what i was getting into without a side bottle holder, i do miss that convenience. Right now im just clipping a bottle to the side using a carabiner while biking for easy access. Have not used in the rain yet but hoping the advertised water resistance proves useful if / when i do."

The travel bag you're missing.

"This bag is extremely comfortable and thoughtfully designed with easy access to three zippered pockets on one side. The small pocket is perfect for essentials like passports, keys, and wallets. The larger pocket provides quick access to power bricks, documents, and other everyday items, while the dedicated laptop sleeve easily accommodates screens up to 15". At 30L, the size is just right — roomy enough for an extra pair of shoes and a few changes of clothes, with space left over. It strikes a great balance between capacity and portability, making it ideal for both travel and everyday use."

I got this pack to

"I got this pack to take to the climbing gym. Fits everything I need, including harness, chalk bag, a few pair of shoes, rope, water, snacks, and jacket with room to spare. If I needed. more room, the rope could easily be strapped to the top. Very durable, I imagine this pack will last forever."

This bag had the pockets

"This bag had the pockets and durability I need to haul everything I need along with me on a work day. And the yellow color is great!"
