Cool material, innovative design

"Love how fast and easy the straps are. Cool design. Build to last materials. Only watch out is a lack of breathability or mesh on the back. This is not a hot summer day pack as much as it is a mountain climbing adventure bag."

Tout à fait ce que je cherchais

"La capacité du sac, les attaches pour piolets et surtout l'ouverture du sac vont en faire mon sac préféré."

Simply perfect

"Simply perfect. Durable, light, essential but with all the optionals you really need, placed where you want them. Water bladder compatible, long side and front straps, great cord support, simple helmet holder, pockets placed correctly, smart ice axe holders. And it looks good. I only had a little issue with the back padding, but I just easyly added a little more padding. Thank you for this amazing backpack, I'm writing this review after two years of alpine use and I still love it"

Great pack

"Used this pack for two days ice climbing in Lake Placid - I was very pleased. Perfect size for some multi pitch ice, and very light. I dont see it in the description, but it also has a helmet (or at least what I used as a helmet) strap/storage tucked away - not the rope strap. Some minor updates I would make/wish this pack had: Buckles for the crampon straps would make storage easier. Velcro for the ice tool handles is a huge pain and basically impossible to do without taking off gloves, which really sucks when its 6degrees. Elastic straps would be waaaay better. Thankfully the Velcro can be removed so I'll probably make that upgrade myself. Over all I thought this was a great climbing pack and would recommend it!"

My favorite pack

"I had the old version of this backpack for many years and I loved so I bought this new version and I am completely happy about it with the new features."

Excellent pack

"Had this out on a few summit trips in Canadian Rockies. Very happy with the bag, backing plate curvature sits very nicely between musculature on the back and makes it feel almost part of the body. External crampon attachment are a great feature as well, no need to pack a heavy pouch to protect everything else. Just the right amount of zippered pockets and bag stays upright when you flip it open to grab something out of the main compartment. I will say as others have mentioned the velcro strap for the water bladder is a bit odd how it is in front of one of the zippered pockets, and did come undone on me once but not really a huge issue. Only thing I would possibly change is an extra elastic strap on the shoulder straps a bit lower down to bring water hose a bit lower."

Almost perfect

"Love the pac. It fits a ton, durable, comfortable when weighted. It is perfect but for the tool carry pocket. I have a hard time securing my ice tools. There is not much room. I have to really press and stretch the t's to secure my tools."
