Out of box confusion
"The instructions are hopeless. It says you need to unlock the battery chamber by pushing the two buttons but it does not work if there are no batteries in it. And there are no batteries when you first buy this product. Someone at Black Diamond is not paying attention. If it is operator error (which is always a possibility) I have passed around to two others to see if they could figure it out. They couldn’t. Stuck!!"
Great for fireless backpack trips
"Used this on a recent backpack trip where fires were not allowed. It provided great light for making dinner as night comes early in the winter. It also provide a nice ambiance for some after dinner chat and beverages with the campfire mode. Great product."
Nice little lamp
"This is a great little camping or emergency lamp for home use. We live by the shore and get frequent power outages. It's great to be able to grab this little guy quickly when we need it."

Small changes, big difference
"I love the magnets! This little, lightweight light can change color and brightness. It can hang in a tent or stick to the side of a bear box at camp. I love the campfire setting which provides a warm, flickering orange light. The batteries last a long long time."
Small, fun, and useful
"Went for the plus model for the magnets. Great for car camping/hands free tasks around the car. All set for the next trip!"
Great little lantern
"The variety of lights in this is great. It’s small compact, and the ability to dim is needed is great. If you’re looking for a compact, light weight and effective camp light for your tent this a great choice."
Very handy
"The lantern works great with regular batteries and lasts a really long time. I love the magnets which have solid gripping. The light is perfect for a tent or a camper. It will light up a large room in the dark no problem"
