"Just did a weekend of multipitch in Red Rocks at the end of January. Long sleeve base layer, zip up waffle fleece, and this coat on top. Conditions varying from belaying in the shade in the mid 30's with 50mph wind gusts, to sunning like a lizard in the calm 50 degree sun. This was easy to throw on when needed, and easy to pack away when not. I'm 5'11" 190lb, usually wear size M-L, got this in a L and it fit comfortably over a hoodie."

"BD does it again. Great combination of technical attributes and puffy comfort. Packs easily, the fitted cuff is really thought out and a great bonus. Hood works with helmet, and the water resistance is a bonus. Not bulky. Using for an added layer for skiing, skin track, and general wear."

"Fitted, I’m 6’1” 180 and have a medium. I can wear a long sleeve base layer for it to fit perfectly. With a sweater, the stretch becomes a bit more valuable, but the fit is still right. I will be buying a second without the hood because I mainly wear it under a shell and use the use the shell hood."
