Fits and moves well

"The shorts fit and move well but the pockets had some stitches come loose after the first washing, leaving a two-inch hole. I hit it with the sewing machine and all is well."

Rad Shorts

"Great for everyday use. Runs a little small but breaks in perfect. I am a 30-32" waist and after a few wears tehy are broken in."

DAVID L. (5/5)

Good but sizing felt off

"Great shorts overall! I love the material, feels durable yet a little stretchy, and the belt is great. Only issue was sizing. I’m generally a Medium for most things due to waist size, and I ordered a medium in the dirtbag shorts as well. These are significantly shorter and tighter in the thighs than those are. Not bad, it helps they’re stretchy, but maybe I’m less inclined to use them climbing now."

Super comfy and durable! Prefer

"Super comfy and durable! Prefer em to my Patagonia shorts"

Himraj S. (5/5)

"Too small. Company would not allow an exchange. Seriously?"

Bought on a whim

"Got it while getting a shirt and this has easily turned into my favorite pair of shorts for just about everything but especially Rock climbing/Mountaineering. Everything about these shorts I love I plan to get more pairs."

Kurt E. (5/5)

Durable simple roomy

"This is my third pair and these are my new go to shorts. Super durable and roomy enough to not constrict you at all while climbing. I also really like the fact that there is no zipper fly. Most shorts constrict at the fly after many washes. Not these. Such a brilliant simple design. Well done BD"

Dan D. (5/5)

Comfortable and durable

"Great shorts, only drawback would be you need to get the size just right, big difference a M and L make with fit and it makes all the difference in getting them on."

Jamie R. (5/5)

Good value and durable

"Great all around shorts. Good features and durability. Great for around the city and the odd get away. Like the integrated belt. Sz L fits well with my larger thighs and 32 waist. Would buy again"

Snug fit, run small

"Disappointed with the fit of these shorts as they are not even close to a relaxed fit and run way smaller than other BD pants Color and material hand are strong points The new return process is highway robbery (ReturnLoop) and not the process described on the packing slip. Complaining to the Orders folks falls on deaf ears: The people I worked with at BD to return these shorts truly had no clue about the new return process and steered me in the wrong direction twice I will probably spend my outdoor budget with other gear makers after this time intensive and disappointing experience"
