"After just a handful of washes, this hoodie is showing extreme amounts of pilling over the entire area. I submitted a warranty claim, but was informed I need to cover the cost of shipping the hoody to Salt Lake for "further evaluation. " From Canada, this shipping is going to cost almost as much as the hoody is worth. The photos I submitted on the warranty claim clearly show the issue, so it isn't reasonable for me to pay this shipping cost and a refund or replcement should be issued."

"This is a good 4 season base layer, with a hoody and zipper. I tend to think of it as layer 2 in a 5 layer system for mountaineering. It's durable, stretchy. Fit is good I'm 5'11 205lb and large fits well. Easy to layer over. Grid fleece is reasonably warm given how thin it is. Used it daily for a 7 day whistler skiing trip, no complaints."

"Perfect weight for a range of active activities anda nice long cut. I appreciate the full length zipper for venting and layering, but the zipper itself is a little janky and often requires two hands. Could be improved with a burlier plastic or higher quality metal zipper, but I suspect this would change the weight and cost. Elastic on the hood could be a little snugger as well. But a solid option for the price."

"my wife and i both picked up this hoody as a lighter mid layer, and on a hunch, that we might be able to eliminate some bulky accessories- in particular, our balaclavas and neck gaiters. and our hunch was correct! now she can layer with another mid layer over this one, and her neck and head under the helmet stay warm and free of snow on cold days…and the athletic cut looks good on our athletic middle-aged bodies!"
"This is the piece I've been waiting for to complete my layering system for snowy winter pursuits. It is super stretchy, has the right length sleeves for reaching overhead and out, a full-zip for dumping heat / moisture when needed on the skin track / boot pack, a comfy hood and flexible / stretchy neck that turns with me and doesn't get in the way of looking around (and up) when totally bundled / zipped up. I LOVE it! Another terrific piece from BD and perhaps the final missing piece in my layering puzzle for winter! Yay! Great job, team! :)"
