Perfect hiking pant

"Love these! The ankle drawstring is perfect and the material is great for all hikes. I’d size down a bit because of the waist stretching. It really all depends on how you want them to fit or body type. Pretty on point for size though so go at it how you feel and they won’t disappoint."

Darn good pants

"I have several pair of Alpine pants, and a pair of winter Alpine pants. They fit and function nearly perfectly. I've never kept any Alpine Light pants in the past because they didn't fit well; the medium size was too small, and the large size was too loose. This iteration resolved everything. Fabric is tougher, but still very stretchy. Weight is minimal, many color choices. They swapped out the ladder loop for an adjustable bunkle. This is now my primary outdoor and climbing pants. My only complaint is that the length is too long, and occasionally, when I take something out of my pocket, the whole pocket comes out with it. Great job BD team, I'll be getting a few more pair."

Great quality and color. Seem

"Great quality and color. Seem quite long vs waist size. But I can deal with that."

Good for summer alpine adventure

"Overall good pant for summer alpine rock/glacier adventures. I’d like a less baggy pant with a pocket on the left thigh as well as the one on the right."

Best Technical Pants in the Game!

"Been wearing Alpine Light Pants for every hike I’ve been on the last few months. It’s the best technical pants I’ve ever owned and I’d recommend it to everyone to get at least one in the closet for use. Black diamond crushed it with these pants. It’s held up to falls, rock abrasions, thorns, sharp leaves, you name it and the pants have been rock solid. Some how this magical pair of pants is warm when it’s cold and windy, cool when it’s hot and muggy. It’s perfect for pretty much all conditions. Biggest worry was that the pants would be too long BUT they have a drawstring that locks into the perfect length for your legs! The pants are super comfy and stretch but also also aren’t super annoying with the crinkly sound. Black diamond thought of everything with these pants and I’d highly recommend them!!"

Men's Alpine Light Pants

"I simply love them. They fit perfectly and move without binding or pinching. They stretch and give in all the right places and situations too! They are very durable. We recently went on a 4 day excursion and they help up over all terrain!"
