Useless combination

"They are not nearly as good (or as warm) as my Mountain Hardware gloves. The liners on the mountain hardware gloves are comparable to the Helio glove part. But the overmitt does NOT DETACH so you have this this, useless appendage attached that gets in the way of the gloves. And the combination of BD glove plus is not as warm as a proper pair of dedicated mittens. Just not worth the compromises."

"Had these gloves for two months now and they work amazing. With the storable mitten these are great when you need dexterity"

I am not a skier.

"I am not a skier. I wore these in Winter of 2026 in rural Illinois, where the temperatures would hit -6 degrees F with intense wind. I expected that if skiers and snowboarders were taking these up into snowy mountains, that they would be enough to keep my fingers warm enough to prevent arthritis flares and Raynaud's. I am not saying that I used these in substitute for medication or therapy; I am saying that I expected them to be warm enough to hold up to cold temperatures in an environment that is presumably less extreme than skiing. Wind and cold still got through these gloves even while wearing liners. The best weather to wear these in is about 25-40 degrees F, and that just isn't how these were marketed. Very disappointing especially for the cost."

Great Gloves

"Really versatile - liner, glove or mitten combo is fantastic. Warm as well. I like the fact that the glove 'mode' is not too big compared to snowboarding/ski gloves where you lose dexterity with your fingers. As such, these fit a bit more snugly than those type of gloves, so keep that in mind when considering size."

Comfortable and warm but not eacy transition

"Comfortable and warm. Taking mitts off when my hands are warm is a smooth transition. Putting the mitts on when my hands are cold is not. I have to take gloves off to put mitts on. Possibly because size S that I got is a little too big for me, which causes the tips of the glove fingers (where my fingers cannot reach) to get caught by the entrance of the mitts."

one of the best

"most comfortable in use and warm, tried it out in the mountains 2500m during skiing -5 - 0 c degrees. when it was getting more cold and freezing the turning them into mittens was an amazing option"

Giorgi M. (5/5)

Great dexterity

"Love the dexterity of these gloves. Can't speak to durability but good warmth and I like being able to use the gloves for zippers without the mitts and the pull the mitts on without having to take anything off"

Rare unlined softshell gauntlet w/touchscreen

"The good: Excellent dexterity and touchscreen mostly works, even with both liner and shell glove. Layers fit and stay together very well. Liners have a good pull loop so when you pull the combo on they stay in place. (One of?) the only thin, unlined softshell gloves with gauntlet cuffs and touchscreen fingers. Over mitt is actually warm enough to make a difference. Cons: The gloves have WPB cuffs and 75% of the back hand, reducing breathability. Since they aren’t waterproof for the rest, this offers no benefit. The seams are thick and bulky, and they are on the inside. When will glove makers learn? Glove seams need to be on the OUTSIDE of the fingers, way more comfortable. There are a few brands doing this. The liner gloves are sewn with 4 seams per finger, so these stack on top of the shell gloves seams. Stretchy, especially knitted, liners, don’t need that many finger seams. The over mitt is very bulky in the wrist, and the pocket is flat, leading to the cuff pulling away from your wrist. The bulk is obviously unavoidable, but a 3d picket would allow the cufff to remain in its normal position, making it more comfortable. Con (for most) or pro (for some); Fingers are very long and thin. I do not have thick fingers, and the size M are just big enough for me. I vary between M and L in glove sizes (size 9 mostly, 10 occasionally), so this is not surprising. However, the fingers, even on the M, are too long."
