"I recently purchased this for use as a heavy duty gear sling and. . . It works good for that. However as far as a chest harness its not great. Climbing is a tad restricted and the buckles are far to difficult to use for putting the harness on and off. Better buckers and more elasticity would really improve this @BLACKDIAMOND!"
"I needed a new chest harness for Single Rope Technique in vertical caving. I was looking at more traditional chest harnesses for SRT, but when I saw this one from Black Diamond, the additional gear attachments points and ease of adjustability drew my attention. I was skeptical to give it a shot, but decided to try it. I am happy to say this is my new favorite chest harness!! Super comfortable and adjustable. Love the added gear loops for radios, etc. Having a more secure and convenient radio attachment point will hopefully prevent radio #3 from taking a 125+ plunge down a pit."
"How people rack their gear is a very personal thing. That said, if you are going to rack with a shoulder sling this is definitely a great one to choose. It distributes weight evenly around you torso and allows you to easily organize the gear so it is accessible. Thanks BD for a great product."
"Compared to other dual sling racks, this starts as a chest harness and adds storage capacity. The front tie point is bomber. The dual adjustment straps on either side of the tie point work very well. The only downside I see is if you were to remove the harness while racked (say, at a belay and swapping leads) it will be tough to get out of since you slide this harness over your head. It would be nice to have an opening up front to ease this move or else plan on reracking on another harness/sling for a lead swap."
