"I watched the Black Diamond Equipment YouTube video about how to replace your hiking pole tips. I did everything as shown and it worked great. Heat the old or broken tip in bowling water for two minutes to soften the epoxy, pull the old tip off with a pliers, clean pole area with alcohol, apply a small amount of new epoxy to the pole, push the new tip on and apply pressure to make sure it is seated. And it's done."
