"Great for biking and alpine rock climbing. My only critique on the bag would be that it fits so well to your back that it doesn’t have much breath ability as other bags and gets hot. This is minor however since it preforms greater than any other small bag I have used for these sports"

Totally worth it!

"I bought this as a "slurge" for a hiking trip in the Dolomites. I've got specialized packs from Eberlestock, Patagonia, etc. (all are excellent) but this was absolutely perfect for those 12 to 18 kilometer hikes/scrambles in the mountains. Carries the load slightly higher than normal, balances the weight perfectly across the shoulders, upper back and chest and packs any load of food, poles and water so securely that the load disappears. Totally exceeded anything I could have hoped for. (Level up and get the 500ml water flasks that are built for the pack)"

Excellent Run Commuting Pack

"This is the second Distance 22 I've owned. First one lasted me ~2. 5 years of daily running commutes and have used it for runs as long as 13 miles. Because I run commute for the majority of my training, I've also had it on for threshold workouts and it fits great, very little bounce (or as little as could be expected). Have also managed to carry breakfast, lunch, full change of work clothes, bike helmet, phone/wallet/keys, and in the winter a down jacket added in there (front stretch pouch is great for this). Fits an iPhone 17 just fine in strap sleeve. Highly recommend!"
