Reviews

Very spacious

"I was able to fit 3 outfits along with all the essentials I needed for a week long hiking trip. Additionally, the vestibule for a hydration bladder accommodated my 1. 5 L bladder very well. Impressed with overall quality and value."

Lightweight pack with some frustrating design choices

"I use this pack a lot as a summit pack, multi-pitch follower pack, and winter day-hike pack. It's very lightweight and I find the face fabric to be pretty tough against abrasion, and that's a huge plus. I have other, heavier packs that have developed pinholes with similar use, but this pack seems surprisingly durable. I also like the exterior and interior zip pocket, which can provide useful gear separation even in a small pack. While I've frequently used this pack with a hydration bladder, it can be frustrating that there is no baffle to separate the bladder from the main compartment. That said, I think a baffle would detract from the design of the pack (it would interfere with the interior pocket and add some weight to a pack whose light weight is a major selling point). More significantly, I really don't like the axe/tool carry. I think the toggles for capturing the axe head are way too long and difficult to manipulate, making it difficult to insert into some axe heads. Furthermore, the velcro feels like a fragile system for capturing the shaft: velcro can easily become fouled by snow and can easily be open if the pack rubs on an obstacle. I would greatly prefer that the velcro be replaced by elastic. Finally, I wish there were one or two straps on the back for carrying crampons on the exterior, and I would gladly pay the weight penalty of the additional straps. Currently I store crampons with the rope carry, sometimes in addition to a rope, which is not ergonomic and doesn't feel super secure. Also beware that the closure cord or the rope carry strap can easily get stuck between your back and the pack, which can be painful; take care to keep those tucked away or attached to the back of the pack."

Incredible Alpine Pack

"I use this ack for any type of alpine objective that requires me to climb with a pack on. Packs well, light weight, and does not restrict climbing movement. The white material also looks so clean!"

The best multi pitch pack ever made

"I just replaced my old blitz pack with this one. I’ve taken it on every rock climb for six years and beat the absolute heck out of it and it’s still going. It does everything you need and nothing you don’t. Incredibly durable for how light and sackable it is!"
