CUTTING-EDGE CLIMBING GEAR AND CLIMBING APPAREL

Black Diamond rock climbing gear is built by climbers for climbers.  Engineered for the send and relentlessly tested, our climbing gear and climbing apparel meets the highest possible performance and durability standards, ready for the hard ascents and long days on the wall. BD climbing shoes are engineered for flexibility, grip, and comfort. Unlike other climbing shoe soles, which are cut from a single sheet of rubber, our climbing shoes use a proprietary molded rubber design, resulting in improved comfort and performance.  Black Diamond harnesses have been a climbing gear staple for 25 years and they incorporate innovative features like Fusion Comfort Technology - which allows for superior load distribution and less pressure on sensitive areas. We’ve put together a huge range of climbing pants, shorts, and shirts that are built for movement. Stretchy, moisture-wicking fabrics help you stay cool under pressure. Water-resistant options keep you dry when the weather takes a turn for the worse and our range of hoodies make sure you stay warm on windy belaysor when relaxing back camp. Choosing the proper rock climbing gear and apparel can have a big effect on the amount of fun you have out on the mountain. Our article “What to Wear Climbing” walks you through the basics of how to dress for every discipline of climbing.
