PRIMALOFT GOLD WITH CROSS CORE

PrimaLoft Gold insulation with Cross Core technology combines the already premium PrimaLoft synthetic insulation with Aerogel particles to create extremely lightweight insulation that stays warm.

Aerogel is one of the lightest materials on Earth. Originally developed by NASA, Aerogel technology works by removing moisture from a gel material, usually silica, creating a ton of tiny pores. These pores are microscopic, and air can’t flow through them, effectively creating a thermal barrier; cold air can’t get in while hot air can’t escape. Cross Core insulation is made by infusing the ultrafine fibers of PrimaLoft Gold with Aerogel, supporting the insulating properties of the already lightweight fibers without adding weight. This is what makes Cross Core an ultimate shutdown insulator that performs in variable conditions.
