"I really like the style, functionality and fit of this jacket. Fits true to size. However I have only worn this 2x just for running errands and I already have a split seam on the outside of the shoulder. Makes me question the quality - which is a first for any of my BD purchases."
"The fit. For someone who spends 100 days on the mountain just working, and plenty more for personal joy, comfort is king. I need layers that are versatile, and the most comfortable of those always win. I can already tell that this layer is going to be in the front row of my ski closet this winter just based on a couple of hikes I’ve already tested the gear in. While it has been warm since the Solution 1. 0 has come into my possession, I’m going to be warm when I’m climbing up the mountain & this jacket passes the sweat test. After a good amount of elevation gain, the jacket is still dry!"

"I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. Winter is loading. Wasn't able to test the black diamond solution 1. 0 hoody in the snow quite yet, but I was able to get out in the rain. The raindrops beaded off the layer and kept me dry. Fits true to size- medium. (I am 5' 8" tall and weigh about 140lbs). The color is lovely and I've received multiple compliments already while wearing it around town and walking the dogs. Stoked to test it out while skiing this coming winter."
"I haven't been able to test it on snow yet, but I really like this jacket! So far it has been a great layer for everyday in the PNW. I wouldn't expect 3L performance from it, but it has performed admirably for a puffy when I was caught out in a couple of rain showers. The quality of the jacket is excellent, I really like the stretchy side panels running from the underside of the arm all the way through the armpit and down the side of the coat. I can see myself using this as a layer underneath my shell when resort skiing and in the backcountry. The jacket is fitted through the waist and true to size. I am 5'3", 135 lbs with an athletic build and wearing a size S, which is my typical clothing size. Black Diamond gave me this free product to try in exchange for my honest review."
