The fabric dries quickly so you can just go for a swim after climbing, or sweat a lot and be dry. I have longer legs and they are short on me. If one needed ankle protection for crack climbing, these are less than ideal, but I definitely recommend them for petite ladies or shants in the heat of the summer."
