"I bought this item on final sale, and as such, I took my measurements and compared them to the size chart provided. I ended up going with an XS which lists the smallest waist measurement as 26”. I was worried that it might even be on the verge of being too big since my waist is 25.5, but when it arrived, it was so small and was not comfortable when it was on because so much of the small strap was on my waist. I measure the inside of the waist, and it measured at 24 inches, not 26. I went round and round with their customer service for over a week. Initially, they said there was nothing they could do even though I explained the size chart did not match the actual product. When I asked them to escalate the matter, they said they would but they needed me to do XYZ. Every time I would come back with what they asked for, they would have something new that I needed to provide them. Every time I called, they also acted like they had no record of previous conversations and made me go through the whole situation over and over again. In the end, they finally admitted it was an issue with the product and said I need to go through a whole separate process to report a warranty issue. At that point, I said forget it and bought a harness elsewhere. I love the belay device and carabiner I bought at the same time, but I don’t think I will ever buy from them directly again and run the risk of having to deal with their customer service."
