"I love this rain jacket. Beads perfectly, and has a light and comfortable feel while worn. It packs to half the size of my previous raincoat. I only wish there were brighter colors - I love the pastel palette but like to have one bright outerwear item should high visibility be needed in unforeseen events."

We took it on a recent alpine hike, and the jacket cut the wind nicely and shook off rain in a sudden squall. The quality of construction and seam-sealing are top notch, as to be expected from BD, and the jacket packs light. However, this isn't a heavy-duty alpine or climbing shell, so factor that in when decision-making. And ya, it has pit zips! (or as my gf calls them, underarm holes)"
