Designed for long days in the alpine that toe the line between running and scrambling, the Women’s Distance 22 is a hybrid pack that can carry all the essentials without holding you back.

With a hybrid design that includes vest-inspired suspension for running, the Distance 22 combines lightweight and comfortable running technology with ample extra storage for mountain endeavors. A women’s specifi c fi t accommodates shorter torso lengths with shoulder strap shaping that focuses on curvature and width at the neck to ensure all-day comfort. The pack is made with BD SETT (Stitch-less Edge Taping Technology) that improves fi t, comfort and durability on the move. The Distance 22 is fully equipped with Z-Pole storage that’s easy to deploy on the go, plus dual piolet carry options.

"As a short person with a short 40" torso this is one of the very few packs that fit me well and is comfortable to climb with. It seats high enough on my back to not get in the way of the chalk bag or harness, while the suspension system allows for fairly good body movement with minimal interruption. "Used for a couple of days out hiking mixed with trail running for 20+ miles now so have a good feel for the pack. Overall really enjoying the packs functionality. Carried gear plus 3L of water well (~9lbs). All easy access pockets on the vest work well, super convenient. Shoulder straps are thin but have been totally comfortable. Haven’t quite figured out the quiver hiking pole storage system, when used there is a lot more excursion of the pack when running especially downhill so probably won’t use that feature, may even take off those straps to save weight."

Perfect fit

"I already had the Distance 15 pack before there was a women's version and loved it. It is a little small for longer or cooler weather hikes so I was excited to order the Distance 22, and have not been disappointed. I didn't know it could fit better, but the women's cut is slightly different and fits like a glove. Features are great and I'll never go back to a standard backpack in this capacity range."

Great pack for the long haul

"I got this pack to take on the Tour Du Mont Blanc this summer (22l version). It is an awesome pack with the bottle carriers up front, which I really wanted. I love the way the weight sits on my back (about 10 lbs) and I like the fit. The pole carrying system (and options) is also fantastic. I am 5' 5" and around 115 lb and got the Women's Small."

Great pack, read the sizing.

"A really great pack. I've just come back from using it for a 14 day bike packing trip where I needed a lightweight frameless pack. The colour is great and the pack is really handy. Pay attention to the sizing as the pack does run small. I got a large (5ft6 140lbs, size 6 top), but normally I am medium in black diamond. A medium would have been too small as the straps across the chest are quite small. This will be my go to hiking pack now :)"

Perfect for fast/light hiking

"Purchased primarily for long distance day hikes but have also used for run commuting. Love it for both! The pack handles weight extremely well especially considering it's frameless and all of the features are really well thought out. It's also extremely comfortable and bouncing/jostling during running isn't too bad, even for my run commuting with a laptop and empty tupperwares in the pack. Plenty of space to stash soft water bottles, snacks, emergency layers, etc. I'm average height (5'6") and thin-ish (130 lb, size 4 top) and the size medium womens pack fits perfect and holds a real raincoat and a puffy jacket in addition to my 10 essentials and other needs on the hikes with space to spare so I'm confident I can make this a three season pack most of the time. Like another reviewer said pay attention to the sizing chart because normally I would've ordered a small."
