Beautiful jacket, but be prepared to baby it

"I waited a long time to purchase --partly because of the price, and partly because I worried about how easily such a lightweight shell might snag. I finally bought it because the color and design were too fabulous to resist. The warmth-to-weight ratio is fantastic, and the jacket feels amazing on. But even wearing it very cautiously, within a month I ducked under a branch in a parking lot and the fabric snagged in two places. Not exactly backcountry abuse—just normal life. I immediately had to order two repair patches… and a third for the inevitable next snag. It’s a beautiful, warm, ultralight layer, but be prepared to baby this jacket or patch it often."

"This jacket is super light, and very warm for how light it is! There are definitely warmer jackets out there but this is exactly what I wanted. Just know that the material is very thin, and I would not wear this if you are doing anything strenuous, bushy, wouldn’t climb in it , but as long as you’re dry and using it for a camo jacket or something it’s all good"
