"I'm realllly into not having a zipper and button style pant! The waist band is so comfortable and stays snug enough to keep things in the right position even after multiple days of wearing them. I love the apline light pants and this pair is no different. They stood up to hiking, scrambling, and camping so far. "Been wearing Alpine Light Pants for every hike I’ve been on the last few months. It’s the best technical pants I’ve ever owned and I’d recommend it to everyone to get at least one in the closet for use. Black diamond crushed it with these pants. It’s held up to falls, rock abrasions, thorns, sharp leaves, you name it and the pants have been rock solid. Some how this magical pair of pants is warm when it’s cold and windy, cool when it’s hot and muggy. It’s perfect for pretty much all conditions. Biggest worry was that the pants would be too long BUT they have a drawstring that locks into the perfect length for your legs! The pants are super comfy and stretch but also also aren’t super annoying with the crinkly sound. Black diamond thought of everything with these pants and I’d highly recommend them!!"
"Love the pants. Black Diamond sells some quality clothing. BUT. . . I bought multiple sizes as we were shortly leaving on a trip. Returned the ones that didn't fit. It took them a month to return my money, almost $300. And customer service just kept putting me off. Reason given was we're just backlogged/overwhelmed at the moment. They've lost me as a customer. Really too bad. Buyer beware."
