The redesigned Alpine Light Pant is a new and improved version of our best-selling mild-weather climbing pant, with four-way stretch, wear-resistant fabric.
We’ve kept the same well-liked single-weave, four-way stretch fabric, but refined the fit and updated the pocketing and belt construction. They’re light and stretchy and can be worn on multi-day wall missions, all-day routes, and adventures that take you deep into the backcountry. A DWR treatment on the fabric protects against light precip and low-profile zip pockets hold the essentials. Fit can be finetuned with cordlock adjustable hems and an easy-to-adjust integrated webbing belt.

"Lightweight pants with mobility, breathability, and rain-shedding DWR. A bit more durable than, say, the Pursuit pant, but still light enough for summer . Great for alpine ascents and trekking and decent for climbing, where fabric abrasion is more of a concern."

"These are a nice, light alpine pant that I will wear at upper elevations in the warmest part of the Washington summer, and probably to rock climb in as well. I had to exchange them for a bigger size. I normally wear an 8 but in these I exchanged for a 10 and they were still a tiny bit snug around the waist. They do have a little bit of a baggy fighter pilot look with the snug waist and the snug ankles and some baggy material around the knees."
