"The BD Venom LT Tech is an awesome, fun, versatile ice tool. I've used it on a couple Spring snow climbs as a secondary tool, especially for dual high-dagger use. It's awesome for this because it's so light weight therefore I don't regret bringing a second tool. And, with Summer coming, this is a perfect lightweight summer 14er axe (that pairs well with the Neve Aluminum Crampons) for a versatile, lightweight, no fuss, kit. I also really appreciate the ability to become the handle for the avy shovel, this is SO awesome, so I don't have to carry the handle too. Finally, the hammer/adze conversion is an awesome and versatile set up where I can "have both" at once. Awesome ice axe!!! Thanks for creating and selling it!"
"Great alternative to the petzl gully. Slightly heavier but being able to use a hammer and adze makes it more superior. Haven't used yet but sure it will shine!"

"I recently bought the Venom LT Tech Ice Axe and I am so glad I did. Other tools on the market are similarly lightweight and versatile as a tool or axe, but I am so glad I went with the Venom because of the ability to remove the pick for travel, transport and storage. On a recent international mountaineering and packrafting trip, the piece of mind of storing the Venom without worrying about the pick puncturing the packraft or associated gear was priceless. Addditionally, packing the Venom in my luggage for multiple flights knowing that it would not rip through duffle was amazing."
