I usually use them when road or trail running over a light lair of gloves, or sometimes will wear just these. Also great for hiking when you just need a little bit of extra warmth and protection but sont need heavy duty gloves or mitts. Basically an awesome extra or backup layer to have that take up no room and weigh basically nothing, so no reason not to bring them on all your adventures."
