This premium freeskiing pole is completely redesigned and loaded with features. Made from 18mm 7075 aluminum, it has a two-piece adjustment system, and extended sticky rubber grips.

Forged aluminum FlickLock Pro makes for easy length adjustments on the fly and the Traverse Pro’s ergonomic grip has a flat edge that can be used to clear heavy snow from skis. Plus, the soft-touch utility hook allows for quick heel riser adjustments on the skintrack. We’ve added 10cm, 20cm and 30cm markings starting at the grip top for quick snow-depth measurments, we’ve integrated a PH3 screwdriver in the shaft for gear adjustments in the field and a 1.5mm hex wrench to adjust the FlickLock.

Great extendable poles

"Seem pretty strong. Lock to adjust length works well, easy to use while wearing gloves. The ice scraper edge on the grips is very handy. Easy to adjust grip strap length. The only thing I find missing is a hole to help hold them together for carrying, but I'd definitely buy them again."

Black Diamond Traverse Pro Ski Poles

"Definite upgrade from the Traverse poles, lighter and easier clasp, but the colors - foam green and bronze/gold - belong in a Paris fashion show, not the backcountry. If they weren't such high quality - and at a great sale price - I would have bought something else."

Traverse Pro Ski Poles

"Looking forward to putting these poles into action. I wanted the ability to adjust the length rather than carry 2 sets. The build quality is very nice and the durability looks to be the same!"

John G. (5/5)

Durable and Reliable

"This has been a great pole thus far. No concerns with durability, and the added features of the pole for the backcountry are greatly appreciated. My only complaint is that the weight and balance of the pole can make it a chore to plant at times."

Ethan F. (4/5)

Great poles for touring

"These poles are awesome. A ton of features and well thought out. There are lighter poles out there but I’m not looking to save a few grams to run the risk of breaking a pole and ruining the day."

Jeff P. (5/5)

study

"I broke my last 3 poles just skiing/on the up (6’2” ~185lb) - these seem thick and sturdy and that they should last. not your poles if you’re counting grams"

Meredith H. (5/5)

High quality! Fantastic color scheme!

"High quality! Fantastic color scheme! Love these poles and expect them to be with me for the next decade. Very durably made!"
