"Great pack, well designed, looking forward to using in Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons."

GOAT potential

"Those that have this bag and have tried many others, know that this has goat potential when it comes to a long day hike bag. The only thing that could possibly be improved upon are the shoulder straps and this is being nit-picky. They should have made them slightly wider or better yet, have running style straps. BD can even have a minor redesign that would allow for the shoulder straps to be clipped in on the frame, so they’re swappable."

Travel/hiking workhorse

"I love the simplicity of this pack alongside the functionality. I am not a fan of packs with too many zippers and compartments - I don't want to be unzipping 3 times to get to something in my bag. Give me simple, functional, and straightforward! This bag hits the mark on both fronts. There's a place for everything without there being 80 pockets. The hip belt is structured enough to be functional/help distribute the pack weight, but not so bulky that it looks ridiculous if I am just using the pack for a walk around town while on vacation. I like the two pockets on the belt: one has a zip for items that need to be more secure, one is just a quick-access stretchy pocket for things that you want to keep at the ready. The back stretch panel is robust and big enough to fit a surprising amount of extra stuff. Side panels are actually big enough to fit a typical outdoorsy water bottle (hallelujah!) There's enough space for a day hike (but tight if you're looking for anything more). Style points 10/10 outdoor chic (got the gray color). Love the size adjustability (super fast and easy to adjust everything; torso length, straps, etc. ) - my 6'4" husband and I often take turns with the pack and either of us can carry this (it's a bit small on him, of course, but the shareability is so much better than previous packs we've owned). 10 out of 10 would recommend. Sidenote: If I was still a cool badass like I was in my 20s, I'd also say this could function well as a great little climbing daypack, especially with the torso-length adjustability. . . just shorten it up to accommodate your harness."

Perfect Day Pack

"Really love this pack. Was unsure at first (straps felt a little weird, not quite the right size to me) but man this thing is great. Took it on three 10-ish hour days in the Scottish Highlands. It held my extra layers, water, camera, and snacks, and - critically - carried them all well. My days included regular trail hiking and some technical scrambling, so I wanted a pack that held all my things, but stayed tight enough to my body that it didn’t impact my movement or balance. This was perfect. Like the colors/look a lot too. 11/10 recommend."

Very nice and versatile day

"Very nice and versatile day pack that is well suited for fast packing and comfortable enough for trail running. It’s a highly functional pack that is also lightweight, with well placed and easily accessible features for poles, phone, hydration, and snacks."

Comfort from the moment you try it on~

"This is a nice in between pack. It was lots of space, but isn't too heavy and i will use it primarily as a day pack (hikes ranging from 6 - 15 miles typically). The pole holder on the front i don't think will get much use - but the other items on the pack are great! Haven't taken it out on a long hike yet, but that is coming up. Lastly - i like the fact it packs down well so i can put it in a carry on if i need to."

Durable daypack

"Ive mainly used this pack to train so far. I bought it for a day hike I'll be embarking on soon and its great so far. I was able to fit a 50 lbs sandbag in it and just walk on a treadmill and it feels great. Im excited to use it on the trail!"

Love it!

"I’d actually give it 4. 75 stars. Everybody makes a 20L daypack, so the challenge is finding the “best” one. I can’t say this one is the best without trail testing all the others, but I’m super happy with it. I wanted a good, accessible phone pocket and the stretchy one on the pack strap is perfect. I really like that there’s a simple stretchy hipbelt pocket for easy stashing and access, as well as a more secure zip hip pocket. Like with every other pack I’ve used with a zip hip pocket, this one attempts to use a bellows design to hold a reasonable amount of stuff but it’s finicky to open and close. I’ve typically not used trekking pole holders, but these work really well. I was really hoping the back mesh stuff pocket would hold a climbing helmet. It does, but just barely and requiring some creative packing. Ice axe holder - check. Rain cover - check. Love the mesh stretch side pockets so you can carry a couple of Nalgene bottles if you want, or bear spray and umbrella. It’s nice to be able to adjust the sizing slightly, definitely made an improvement in the fit for me. The one thing that drops my score is the water bladder hook. It’s tiny and terribly placed. You have to take everything out of the top pocket to even have a chance of working it, and it’s one of the tiny buckles that are irritating to use. I’ll be adding a hook like many other packs use ASAP. But no hesitation from me in recommending this pack."
