Perfect design for hand protection,
"Perfect design for hand protection, for the long days on the trail. I would wrap my thumbs with tape, to avoid sore spot, from my trekking poles, but no more. Only downside is that they are hard to remove."
A light, fingerless and highly breathable glove for improved grip and blister resistance, the Black Diamond Trail Gloves are perfect for quick hikes and long-distance treks alike.
The four-way stretch backpanel fabric manages moisture on warm days, and the durable synthetic palm makes for secure handling of trekking poles and other trail essentials. Integrated pull tabs make for easy on and off, while the half-finger design adds breathability and dexterity.

"i love these trail gloves so much. i wore them religiously when thru hiking the Appalachian Trail. I used to wear bike gloves, but these work so much better. they kept my hands from slipping on my cork grips and i never had blisters from my poles. they wash and dry well in the laundry. my right hand started to fall apart after 2200 miles of daily wear. so i bought two pair from the outlet in case they’re ever discontinued."
"I've worn these about 6 times so far, and they're super comfortable. I forget I'm even wearing gloves. I've been wearing them for early morning trail runs, and they give just a touch of warmth, but I can tell they're light enough to be good for summer runs in the heat as well. I hang-dry them after running, and they're moisture-free within a couple of hours, so that's a good sign for summer. I also really like the extra fabric between the middle two fingers for pulling these on and off. These work beautifully with my BD Distance poles, and I am very happy with my purchase so far."
"I use these when on the trails with my Carbon Z trekking poles. They work great and I don't mind wearing them even in the heat"
"A little disappointed at the quality. I realize they are ‘light’ hloves but the material and craftsmanship feel like they will last about 3 long hikes…if that. We’ll see! The fit and design are great though."
"I have been using these gloves for 2 months on the CDT and they have held up better than expected. I have ran them thru the washing machine several times and they come out like new. I would estimate they have easily handled 500 miles so far using trekking poles."
"They protect my hands from the jarring and sun. And love the nose-wiper material on the thumb."
"Very light weight and comfortable gloves"
"It keeps down the spots on the back of my hands and helps me hold on tight to my poles!"
"Gloves fit well. Perfect for trekking poled."
