A lightweight, minimalist climbing glove built for sending steep ice, the Black Diamond Terminator is the modern version of our premier ice and mixed climbing glove.
Featuring 40 gram Thinsulate® and a fixed fleece lining, this glove offers premium dexterity for hanging ice daggers and tenuous rock sections. The TPU knuckle patch protects against wear and an ice tool specific, pre-curved fit provides a secure grip. Our innovative "seamless pinky" construction, where we've removed the seam on the pommel side of the pinky, increases the level of comfort when hanging on your tool. The goat-leather palm adds durability while the 4-way stretch fabric and suede nosewipe keeps you comfortable. The Terminator also has a waterproof BD.dry™ insert for warmth and protection against wet ice.

Perfect Ice Gloves
"Recently bought these for some mountaineering and Ecuador. Ended up taking them on a test drive in Ouray Uce park as well. Could not recommend a better technical glove for climbing. Dexterity proved to be so good that I don’t think I removed them at all throughout the day. 10 out of 10 Balcj diamond. These are now my work horse for some major sends. Cheers! Sizing guide fits dead on. Go a size up if you want to wear liners."

"These run small, so order +1. The cuff and thumb box were both tight but after using for a few days they now fit perfectly. I look forward to a little bit more break in, but already appreciate the dexterity and durability of these gloves."

Not for sweaty hands or cold days
"The liner shrinks and grabs as soon as my hands get even slightly damp from perspiration - not just when the gloves are wet. Once that happens, they’re hard to remove and very hard to put back on. The narrow wrist opening doesn’t help and is uncomfortable if you wear a watch. Warmth is limited. My hands were freezing around -5 °C even when I was moving continuously. When I finally managed to take them off, the liner pulled out and I haven’t been able to push it back in properly since. Good dexterity, but in real use the moisture management and liner design make these frustrating for cold conditions. Not a glove I’d rely on when temps are below freezing or when hands tend to sweat."

"These gloves fit me tighter that large BD gloves have in the past - tighter around my hand and the fingers are a little shorter. They are a struggle to pull off, where I feel like I am going to pull the inside out."

"These gloves are everything I hoped for. Dextrous, comfortable, and great for staying active in most cold weather conditions. I own expedition mitts for extreme conditions, but these are my go-to ‘work horse’ gloves for splitboarding, snowshoeing, and mountaineering."
