Serviceable rope bag - how does it compare to others?
"Perfectly serviceable rope bag, performs its essential function well. I'd simply point out that when comparing it to other options, I don't think it stands out. On a basic price vs. features analysis, look at the Trango Antidote - it has two shoulder straps, Super Chute has one. Antidote has a clear window to easily see and identify the rope inside (so does the Metolius bag, and maybe others), Super Chute does not. Antidote MSRP is 40 bucks - Super Chute is 65. Similar size, materials, workmanship etc. Super Chute has a more sophisticated, smoother drawstring/closure/open system which makes opening and closing a bit easier, but that's a relatively minor point relative to others listed. No issues with the Super Chute - I have two of them. I just think there are competitors out there that offer more value for money. You decide. . . ."
