Speedfi speeds it up

"Still a newbie aid climber, but this product makes the whole process a lot smoother and more efficient than my regular fifi. To be honest, I got this initially instead of others because of the price. But now I'm finding that there are few features that I prefer. A few things that I noticed that are different/same from the other adjustable fifis that my partners are using: 1) I can use this with either hand and not twist webbing since there is no webbing. 2) Uses rope instead of webbing so it's a bit more dynamic although you still are not supposed to fall on it. 3) With practice, there's about the same amount of friction/resistance as using the webbing-based one. 4) Looks like it would be fairly easy to replace the rope on the Speedfi if necessary."

Nice build

"The fifi is easy to use. But not sure how to use it efficiently yet lol"

Best I’ve used

"Smoother and easier to release than a Yates, rope doesn’t twist and then jam like webbing. The eye below the hook lets you use it as a second Daisy while doing roofs, or clip to your harness, or I sometimes like to attach a ladder via soft shackle. It works well with an oval or a large locker like a rocklock. With the right sequence, you can use only one lanyard and have the other ladder always in your hand, clipped to your harness, or clipped to the rope, for less dingle dangle action."

The speedfi is epic! The

"The speedfi is epic! The thumb release catches and releases so smooth. The fact that direction doesn't matter like similar webbing based ones is also cool."
