Good Backpack

"The backpack is well-constructed and is a great summit push pack. Whether or not is is good for you depends on your specific needs."

Simon R. (5/5)

Great pack

"Good pack for multipitches"

Top notch on route pack

"If you want a traditional style on route small pack this one fits the bill. great ergonomics and out of the way of you harness."

Max P. (5/5)

Great climbing pack.

"I love this pack. Bought it for a summit pack that I could carry skis, and ice axes on. I haven’t carried skis on it, yet. I’ve used it as a summit pack, and climbing pack. Works great. Carry’s extra layers, water, snacks, clippy snappys, do hickies, axes, and a rope well. Just wish it had a helmet holder. I usually use the front cinch straps to hold foot prisons(crampons) when I’m not using them. They do well. This is the pack you want for fast, and light missions."

Allen M. (5/5)

Great Bag

"Took this up to the Grand Teton and it performed great, had enough room for a rope, harness, belay devices, 3 layers and plenty of snacks and water. I would recommend this bag 100%"

Will K. (5/5)

Okay Daypack

"This is an okay pack. I cut off a bunch of extra straps that were overkill. Would be nice if it had a bit of rigidity to it."

Doug J. (3/5)

Hits the spot

"The pack is lite & compact yet holds what I need for multiple adventures. In addition to ice climbing I can use it for day hikes / trail runs and back country or alpine skiing with enough attach points to carry a pair of skis or miscellaneous gear when needed without excessively restricting mobility."

Richard B. (5/5)

Meh

"I guess I got caught up in the Brand recognition, and I ordered it online. Now I'm stuck with this mediocre pack. Don't really want to send it back, but probably not going to use it much. For me, I like a pack I can make out what is inside. This pack is dark, so if I want my black Black Diamond coat I basically have to dump it out to find what I'm looking for. My wife doesn't care if she has to fish for her gear. I think it's tedious. Little details like that reveal what's important to the design team - looking good, over function. Meh. I prob"

Get it.

"Bought one in 2015. Used it for absolutely everything, usually climbing, and only after several canyoneering trips has it finally gotten so many holes it was time. Canyoneering destroys packs. Not the most UL. And that’s good. Carries all things. Durable as F. I’m scared of new versions of favorite old gear - but oh my god the 2023 actually has loads of helpful improvements. 10/10."

this pack is pretty great

"this pack is pretty great for multi pitch and alpine. i especially like that it has snap buckles on the side compression straps so i can keep the rope in place."
