"I bought these trekking poles right before a trip to California where I hiked over 40 miles with them. They performed extremely well in a range of conditions and I was very pleased with the build quality of the poles. Additionally, I was impressed with the sustainable cork grips and telescopic extension."
"I am entry level and wanted a little bit of an in between entry level and more “advanced” pole. I think these fit the bill perfectly. I have used them 3 times now over 50+ miles and they haven’t let me down. I do wish it had instructions for removing the tips because I did not see any I also think they could have some on board storage for the extra tips in the poles themselves but these things don’t affect the quality or the review by any means."

"Poles are great but impossible to get replacement parts. I bought a pair of Pursuits about two years ago and I love the poles. Recently, the tip snapped off of one of them just below the threaded area that supports the carbide tip. I wasted time trying to outright purchase replacement pole segments, was told by the chat bot person that I would need to file a warranty claim that Black Diamond was not likely to honor, and called their service number and was told that I would need to file a warranty claim. No one at Black Diamond seems to understand that I just want to purchase replacement segments for $169. 95 poles that I like and want to keep using, whether or not the warranty is still valid."
