EVA padding on the back of the hand and thumb add protection and a neoprene hook/loop wrist closure snugs these mitts up to your wrist for the day in the mountain.
Primaloft has ultra-fine fibers designed to trap warmth. This allows them to keep you comfortable and thermally-regulated no matter the activity, no matter the season.

"Leather degraded, cracked and slices extremely easily. After 3 days of use skiing on strictly groomed trails, the palms of the mitts were sliced up from handling skis and gear. Do not recommend if you want a long lasting glove, especially for this price."
"Loved these until they failed at a seam. The thumb is separating from the palm at the seam after only 60 days of use. Sometimes there are issues in production. . I get that. . but Black Diamond refused to warranty them saying this is normal wear and tear when this is clearly an issue with either material or manufacturing. They DO NOT stand behind their product and skate out of their warranty by claiming wear and tear. I will never buy black diamond again. Avoid all their sewn products!"
"Warm, durable gloves that look good. Some reviews say that the cuffs are a little tight. While I think they are on the tighter side, I appreciate it for not letting snow in. I don't have any trouble getting them on or off. I'm sure they will loosen with time as well. I have pretty normal sized hands and got size large. I would say true to size. I would recommend. Looking forward to warmer hands this season."
