"Great jacket for those cool, but not crazy cold days -- which is when I appreciate not having a hood. I really like the new cuffs. Two recommendations for future versions: (1) internal zip pocket for keys or stuff you cannot risk falling out of the hand pocket and (2) either 1 inch longer sleeves or more shoulder room. At 6' 2" with a + ape, the medium jacket fit is great until I raise or extend my arms. Regardless, I would buy again!"
"Nice jacket, resist water and does good job keeping wind out. Keeps me warm in 30 degree temperatures with light weight under layer. Not too bulky to use as layer under gore-Tex coat. Only disappointment was color of inside of jacket. Bought Iron Red, be wear the inside color is orange."

"Fits good, for reference I am sure 6'2 / 215 LBS. Loved this jacket, seems well built, durable, warm, but there is one dealbreaker. The collar is really high and is very annoying to the point that I decided to return the jacket. It constantly touches your face and it also looks weird, like Dracula's cape. Lower the collar to standard height and this jacket will be perfect."

"I really like this jacket overall, but the material used on the inside of the neck turned out to be a major flaw for me. Within a short time, my beard frayed the nylon fabric badly enough that I had to return it. I submitted photos and explained the issue in detail because I honestly think it’s a design problem that could be solved by using a softer material, even the fleece from the pockets would make a better choice for the interior neck. Black Diamond did replace the jacket under warranty, which I appreciated, but I would have been happier if they had acknowledged the fabric issue instead of treating it like a one-off. It feels like a miss in design that could be easily fixed and would make this otherwise excellent jacket much better for long-term wear."
