Featuring 4-way stretch fabric, this pant moves with you on big tours in the mountains, while the Recon’s BD.dry™ waterproof/breathable solution keeps you dry on deep turns in harsh winter conditions. The Recon features an updated, low-profile electronics pocket over the right thigh. An integrated RECCO reflector adds to the pants’ snow safety capabilities, while the instep patches guard against ski edges and crampon points. The Recon’s offset side vents allow you to dump heat on the skin track, and the high mounted snow gaiter keeps out the snow.

BD.dry™ 3L face fabrics are treated with a DWR solution without intentionally added PFAS and these fabrics have a hydrophilic membrane that allows water vapor to transfer through, making them waterproof, yet breathable. Applied to the backside of this fabric is a third layer, jersey backer, that feels comfortable next to the skin and allows moisture to turn to vapor before passing through the hydrophilic membrane. "I'm newer to skiing and I feel like I made a good choice overall for my first pair of ski pants. I found that the waist was tight for me. I bought a small and I wear a 30x29 or 29x29 size in pants. Length was right, but the waist was snug. Like I didn't really need to use the belt for them to stay on. Is that normal? I only had a thin base layer on. I wonder how much better these would fit one size up, would a medium be too loose? I fell several times and didn't notice any spots where the material was damp after falling, I wasn't cold and didn't overheat either. Overall satisfied."

"This was my first time taking out my BD dry technology pants & let me tell you, I paired it with my Alpha SV and the pants kept me more dry then my ASV -- not sure how that possible, but these dogs are killer, and 10x more comfortable then my other pants. Got these on sale and they are the most worth it and too be honest has me wanting to get a BD dry jacket as well. BD you have done it again - not to mention the stretch as well - that is next best part."

"I'm 5'10" 150lbs, just got my size S. Waist is fine and can be adjusted with the belt but the length is absurdly long. Even with boots on and hiked up mid torso these still bunch terribly at the knees. Seems like a small should be tight if anything for an average sized person like me. Absurd proportions."
