the Recon Stretch Shell is built with durable BD.dry™ 3L stretch nylon fabric with a DWR finish without intentionally added PFAS. With one chest pocket for essentials and two mesh internal drop pockets for skins or extra layers, the Recon features ample storage, while the jacket’s removable powder skirt adds versatility for variable conditions. The Recon also has pit zip vents for easy temperature regulation on the skin track, a waterproof front zipper, and a ski-helmet-compatible hood for added protection on storm days. Patterning and fit allow for freedom of movement and all-day comfort. Internal RECCO® technology makes you searchable.

PFAS-Free DWR
Our Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment is made without intentionally added PFAS chemistry, enabling you to stay dry without relying on these 'forever chemicals'.
BD.Dry 3L
Waterproof. Breathability. Durability. Stretch. BD.dry™ 3L face fabrics are treated with a DWR and these fabrics have a hydrophilic membrane that allows water vapor to transfer through, making them waterproof, yet breathable. Applied to the backside of this fabric is a third layer, jersey backer, that feels comfortable next to the skin and allows moisture to turn to vapor before passing through the hydrophilic membrane. Slim Fit
Designed to fit slim to the body for an athletic, low-profile fit without restricting mobility and accommodating base layers or light midlayers.
Regular Fit
A classic universal fit with comfortable ease. May feature slight body shaping, but predominantly straighter fit that will accommodate midlayers more comfortably.
Relaxed Fit:
Generous through the body for a casual loose-to-oversized fit without shaping. Designed for comfort, it accommodates heavier mid-layers.
How to Measure
Sizing refers to body measurements, not garment dimensions
Chest
Measure around the chest/bust just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Arm Length
Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down the arm to the wrist.
Hip
Measure around the widest point of the hips.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of the waist.
