Built for skiers and riders who desire extra warmth for backcountry tours and lift-access ski missions in harsh winter conditions, the redesigned Recon Insulated Pants feature fully taped, four-way stretch BD.dry™ shell fabric to keep you warm and dry in the mountains.
Lined with zoned Thermolite insulation, these pants are breathable and mobile where you need it while providing added warmth for the rest of your lower body. Featuring 4-way stretch fabric and a movement-focused patterning for added mobility, this pant moves with you in the mountains. The Recon’s 3L BD.dry™ waterproof/ breathable solution keeps you dry on deep turns and storm days. The Recon features two zippered thigh pockets (with a low-profile electronics pocket on the right). A contoured waistband provides extra coverage and the ability to dial in fit with Velcro adjusts on the sides, snap closure, and belt loops. An integrated RECCO reflector adds a safety feature to the pants, while the instep patches guard against ski edges.
Our Recon Stretch outerwear is built to go uphill and downhill without limitation. It’s designed to be ultra-versatile and provide performance and comfort in all winter conditions, and either side of the rope.

"For this model, BD removed the cargo pocket and lowered the 2 front pockets. They're too low to comfortably grab items. They hang so low that any objects in the front pockets bounce off my knees. BD removed the back pocket. I don't understand the function (or lack thereof) of removing pockets and migrating the only remaining pockets to someplace so unintuitive. Credit to the pants to being very warm and having good vents for the too warm days."

"Really like the colour of the pants, the fit as well as the ability for them to have a little stretchiness. Would be nice if the medium waist was a little larger, if you are active person your "seat" may be a little tight in them. The cell phone attachment is nice. What else could be improved is the vents having mesh. It's odd for a snow pant not to have an active means to prevent snow from entering the pants while being active."
