Built for unparalleled comfort during all day cragging and gym sessions, the Momentum Lace is a shoe that combines innovative technology with a classic, flat-last design.

The result is an entry-level shoe that excels in performance. With an upper fabric that consists entirely of our Engineered Knit Technology, the Momentum Lace provides stretch where you need it, support where it matters and all around exceptional breathability. We've also added a micro-fiber liner to the front of the shoe to minimize stretch and maximize comfort. The Momentum's durable rubber is unique in that it's molded-inspired by the way we forge our carabiners-versus cut from one sheet of rubber. This is our engineered solution to optimize our shoe's rubber and rands for durability and comfort. Designed for all-day comfort on moderate routes, boulders or gym sessions, the Momentum features a soft-flex midsole for sensitivity and lace-up adjustability, making it the perfect entry level climbing shoe.

Reviews

Wide toe box

"I have been climbing for almost 8 years now all over the United States from Tennessee slick, Las Vegas grit, and Hawaiian lava rock (you have to know a guy). I also am an ultra runner so my feet take an absolute pounding on a weekly basis. I wore La Sportivas for years and just assumed everyone had pain with climbing shoes, until I bought these. They absolutely fit my wide foot without scrunching them down, and I have more power now because my foot is in a more natural shape. Love these shoes."

Men’s Momentum Shoes

"I really enjoy these shoes and having laces as well I enjoy more for a better custom fit and a nice style I would say too. I have no issues with them and use them 3 times a week climbing. They are comfortable even being snug!"

Josiah H. (4/5)

Great shoes

"Second pair I’ve purchased. Very comfortable"

Ilse G. (5/5)

perfect if you have a wider foot

"I am new to Climbing and needed a shoe that wasn't gonna break the bank and would fit my wider foot and this shoe does that perfectly."

William J. (5/5)

Better than the straps

"Bought them to replace my velcro shoes after they broke, laces work much better keeping the shoe tight to my feet and feel sturdier"

Chad C. (5/5)

Good fit

"Comfortable fit and great grip"

Kellen D. (5/5)

Good gym shoe

"Shoes are comfortable and material is durable"

Ben M. (5/5)

Comfortable shoes

"Shoes are very comfortable. The padding is just the right amount of comfort before losing support."

Britton S. (5/5)

Poor sizing

"I currently have the strap version of the momentum and they fit great! These are about 1 to 1. 5 inches smaller. I'd highly recommend not purchasing them unless you can try them on first."

Paul (1/5)

Great cheap(ish) shoe

"I've been climbing for well over a decade now and I've found that 99% of the time, having an aggressive shoe doesn't change anything for me, with some focus on footwork, I'm limited by my fingers and hip/shoulder flexibility more than my shoes. These get the job done, and they're cheaper and more comfortable than anything else I've tried in the last 6-7 years. I've been adding size 00 grommets to the lace holes to avoid having the laces saw through the shoe material when I crank down on them to get the shoes super tight for the really delicate footwork. Normally I leave them fairly loose (by climbing shoe standards) for comfort and extended sessions."
