"This hoody is a mixed bag. Pros are this is functionally the best piece of active insulation that I have ever used, it has a nice cut and it looks great. The cons are that the material is not durable/not made for an alpine environment and it's way too expensive. If you can get one of these for 50% off and don't mind repairing it frequently, then I would recommend it, otherwise you may want to look elsewhere."

As a mid-layer, it's replaced all others - sweaters, pile tops, flannel shirts used for layering, etc. Usually I'm fine simply wearing a T-shirt, this hoody and a down parka. Family members have tried like kind products from Northface, Arcteryx, Patagonia etc. saying I'm sick in love and this is a fetish I'll out grow, but until then. . . this is the one I grab for everytime."
