"This hoody is a mixed bag. Pros are this is functionally the best piece of active insulation that I have ever used, it has a nice cut and it looks great. The cons are that the material is not durable/not made for an alpine environment and it's way too expensive. If you can get one of these for 50% off and don't mind repairing it frequently, then I would recommend it, otherwise you may want to look elsewhere."

On Dec 21, 2025, I ran four miles in -20C conditions and this piece of kit blew my mind. It works better than anything else I've tried, to date. I'm 6'2", 180 lbs and I wear the small First Light 2. 0 Stretch Hoody (Midnight Blue)."
