"Purchased to keep pack weight down for alpine days and for an upcoming Colorado Trail through hike. This thing will be such a perfect fit as an emergency mid layer/for night at camp. Did I mention it’s mega lightweight?"
"This is an excellent piece of gear, but it's really meant for climbers. The hood is only useful with a helmet on. It's extremely light and well made, but I'm willing to add a few grams for an adjustable hood."
"this thing feels like you're picking up a piece of paper but it's just as warm as advertised"
"This is sort of a nothing piece of equipment not worth the cost. What is it for? It is too light to be worn as an out wear piece. If it is meant to be a heavy base layer why the hood. An awfully expensive base layer that does not seem to be all that warm having worn it at about 30-35F over 2 base layers and under a fleece hoodie i was comfortable warm. I would not buy it again not at this price."
"It’s freakishly light and you could forget you are wearing it. It’s really warm for its weight and packability and is good for early/late season mornings"
"Super light weight beyone ultralight, form fitting not baggy at all"
"Lightweight yet warm. Great to layer with on colder days. Slim fit keeps it from 'flopping' around. Not a fan of the helmet size hood tho'."
"Perfect for those early/late season multipitch days."
"Amazingly light and thin, and incredible warmth. So it removes that bulky impression of some down jacket without compromising warmth, and gives a great (increased!) freedom of movement when worn under a GTex jacket. Well done, BD!"
"This is a gorgeous lightweight warm jacket with one problem. The hood does not have any way to adjust it. Seems like it's meant to fit over a helmet. Which it does. But without a helmet, your head is exposed to all the cold wind swirling around."
