"This was my first time trying a "sun hoodie" - took it for a week-long outdoor shoot in Arizona. I was extremely happy with how cool it stayed, but also how well protected from the sun I was throughout. Gave it a try in a boating environment under bright skies, same result. Wet or dry it was comfortable and looked good. Easy to clean, too!"

"I have a few hoodies of this style from Patagonia and Stio. This one is a bit heavier in weight than the Patagonias, which are more oriented toward water sports, and also a softer, stretchier material, which makes it better for wearing around town, on airplanes etc. It does not dry as quickly, but offers better sun protection. Great fit and color. Note that, as of now, the website says this comes with thumb holes but that is an error - this hoody does not have thumb holes"

"I own several of BD's older sun shirts that have served me well over the years. but are now beginning to fade and showing signs of wear, so i decided to upgrade to the circuit hoody. I appreciate the same function and reliability as their previous sun shirts but was so impressed by the comfort of the newer material I bought 3 of them (full transparency; I do miss the zip chest pocket though)."

"I am happy to say BD changed the materials their hoodies are made out of. I have other from BD that have had bad issues with holding onto pet hair, and pilling. So far this material has been dramatically better. So its been a great hoody to have for cool spring mornings and sunny spring days here in the mountains."
"These are nice sun hoodies and they are comfortable. They are good quality for basic needs and everyday wear. They don't feel overly technical or super high end. They could be a touch longer in the back to improve coverage with full range of motion."
