"Bit intimidated by the price but very worth the price. Super happy with the traction, nice to have on exposed scramble sections. The little nubs fell off pretty quickly but there is no noticeable change in performance. Also GO A FULL SIZE UP! I was a bit scared that they were going to be too big but a full size up was perfect."
"This delivered. It is a nide wide open toe box, and I am a good C-D on width. I would strongly recommend sizing up a size to get an actual fit. The loft in the midsole is really responsive and helps with those longer runs. I can say the lug (depth) noticeable on technical trails. This is an ultra trail shoe by design, and it delivers!!"

While not advertised as having a wide toe box, they are reasonably spacious; I often find that my toes are squished in most trail runners and these are not doing that."

"These are pricey shoes! They’d probably get five stars if they were $100 cheaper (or made in North America), so at $300 I’m gonna be a bit critical. The Dynema is burly and durable, but not nearly as compliant as my other trail shoes. The trade-off in durability is comfort. The materials are stiff and less form-fitting. I’m also deducting a fractional star for the sizing. Just about every normal American needs to size up at least 1/2 size… why!? Just use normal sizing like everyone else. I have way less than 300 miles on these shoes, so durability is unknown, but I expect them to last a long time. Stability and sensitivity are well balanced but again are trade offs. Neither is perfect. That said, I have no regrets purchasing these shoes and favor them for my longer and more technical trail pursuits, especially with these grippy soles."
"I’ve put a little over 50 miles on these shoes so far, and I’m extremely impressed. They really proved themselves on my most recent trip up the Grand Teton. The Vibram outsole provided excellent traction on technical terrain and even performed surprisingly well on some icy sections. The spacious toe box was another huge plus, especially after spending long periods on my feet. The 5mm drop also felt great, and I experienced no Achilles pain throughout the trip. The upper has proven to be extremely durable, it even survived a pretty serious marinara sauce splatter. As suggested I went up a full size and the fit ended up being perfect."
"So, these are slightly less awesome than the 001's due to the padding in the upper and heel cup, but they're still amazing nonetheless. They're super grippy, have the perfect amount of padding and support, and they hug the tops of your feet just right to keep your foot from moving around during runs or hikes on difficult terrain. I pretty much live in Norda's at this point. I wear them to work on poured concrete floors, take them for mountain trail runs and hikes, and wear them out and about because they just look cool. definitely size up a whole size on these, because the dynema upper isn't going to stretch over time. 10/10 would recommend. I own four pairs of these and the 001's."
"Having run in all Norda models - starting with the Coopers Hawk 001, and including the 001A, 002, 003, 005 and 055 - this 000 may turn out to be the very best for me for longer races. I’m going to lace them up for the inaugural 250-mile race across the Navajo Nation on Sept 2nd, which will test them on high desert, subalpine, and technical slick rock canyons as well as plenty of long asphalt stretches (including the iconic Forrest Gump reenactment in Monument Valley). I’ll report back but am confident because Norda essentially put the 002 on the 001 platform, passed heel counter and all! Thanks for listening, NM."
